It is an evergreen tropical plant and requires sunlight (or decent artificial lighting) in order to survive.

If you have no room, you can consider this a disposable plant. It can be found in any garden center, grocery store, etc. etc. for very little money.

Do you have aquariums? My spouse chops off 2-3 feet lengths of pothos and just dumps them in the aquariums. The produce roots and grow new leaves. Occasionally some old leaves must be trimmed off for appearance sake, not to often though.
