I purchased some red and blue clonex. I don't know much about it but it was recommended by a friend. I have several California Coast Live Oak hard wood cuttings and a few barely rooted oaks collected from a neighbor's plant (with permission). Any thoughts about the best method for getting these cuttings and plants to grow? Water only rooting, sterilized potting mix, clonex red or blue and then sterilized potting mix, perlite only, vermiculite only, sand only? You can see that I have receive a lot of advice and I am trying to sort through it. Thanks.
