I cut my cannas down today so I could dig up the bulbs to store over winter. Some of the stalks were really thick, and I was just wondering if they could be propagated.

I cut about 4 inches above the soil line and the lower part of the stalk looks like it might be able to grow. But I don't know as I've never tried it! I know I'd have to care for them inside.

I don't want to throw out the lower parts of the stalks if I can make more cannas! Thanks!!!
