starting senna alata from seed

Im curious how to accelerate senna alata seeds. The candlestick tree. They are very hard, soaking for several days didnt seem to help..Ive noticed that they need a long exposure to 70degrees plus temps to germinate in the wild, but would like to get some started earlier...thx

SOAK THE SEED IN WATER FOR 6 HOURS THEN LIGHTLY COVER THE SEED SOIL TEMPERATURE 70F may need bottom heat.

I have actually started this plant by using vermiculite in a plastic bag, and moistened. I cut a leaf off and stood it up in the vermic. In 2 weeks I had roots off the leaf. Small roots, but roots. Good luck.
