That looks like Scott Pratt (aka Kohala). Leaves should be upright with acute tips.

I'm thinking Pop's Red. Mine just opened, and looks a lot like that. Not as dark I think as Scott Pratt.

Leaves similar to Pop's also. Also, Pop's is my one red that photographs well - and you had mentioned that this photo is true to life too. But there are a lot of reds out there. I know this isn't a Duvachelle, lol!

Hi Guys and Gals...

My first thought was Pop's Red. I have a Scott Pratt and it does seem to have the same coloration, but it is different.

I was trying to take in the fragrance.. Hard to describe and is faint, but If I close my eyes.. It smells like a glass of red wine!!! LOL. Crazy, but true.

Looking at the difference now between Scott Pratt and Pops Red.

I forgot to mention that the leaves are very dark green and they are upright and pointed..thank you!!!

It also darkened up ...as you can see in the pic where i am holding the bloom

Laura, here's my Pop's Red. I know it's legit cause I got it from the Lady in Orange County that I got the Jeannie Moragne fro -- oh wait. (Just kidding - I got it from Island). The leaves do look very similar.
