Herbs from the store

I've been trying to get rosemary and marjoram from the grocery store to start in some seed starting mix. I am not having any success.

Can you please help with a better method? I've been searching the grocery stores for tarragon and would like to do the same when I actually find it.

You should be able to find rosemary and marjoram in 2 or 3 inch pots at most nurseries. French tarragon goes dormant but it should be there also, but it might not look too good right now. Trying to start cuttings from herbs that have been cut several days ago is not easy. Al

You can get seeds easily online for pretty cheap, and actually you can plant seeds from the spice section in the grocery store, if you know what they are called. Cilantro is called Coriander in it's seed form, and it will grow plants for you easily. Cilantro is one of my favorites. Guacamole is not guacamole without it!
