Just the shape of it sounds like it would be a challenge to do something with. How big is it and is it right up next to the house or plunked out in the yard somewhere? You might be able to use it as a base for a nice brick or flagstone patio. With layer of crushed gravel, then sand and the brick on top of that. I'm not sure how that would work, or even if it would work but I do know that it's a real mess to take up large pieces of concrete and to dispose of them. So if you can get around having to do that you might be ahead of the game. Cheryl

You can stain the concrete. You can group collections of containers to hide some of it and grow plants in them. You can tile over the concrete.

You could sandblast the concrete or etch it with a muratic acid

I have the same problem but worse, please help! We are buying a home and I want to get rid of a huge concrete patio and replace it with a "real" garden.
I appreciate any ideas or advice!
