It's just such a reliable, and for me, early bloomer AND the flowers take on different colors with different temps. Pink, gold to orange tones. Large flowers of good substance.
I'd classify it as a somewhat compact grower too. Easy to root.
Never seems to get black tip. Nice fragrance.
So many things to like about this oldie, but goodie classic plumeria. Great for containers.
I have noticed that it seems to be VERY sensitive to RoundUp spray - even from a distance.

When you say easy to root. How long. I have one started on 8-4 and it still has done nothing. Main stalk still hard and green but no leaves. I used the egg method. It has 4 long tips and they are very thin from lack of water. I mist twice a day.
I would say it's pretty easy to root in the Spring like most others are. I have not tried to root one this late in the season. Normal rooting time is probably 4 to 6 weeks.
But yes, the thinner branches do tend to get wrinkly.
