Aztec Gold after so cal heat wave

This beautiful pink showed up during the heat on the outside. The whole bud turned pink and now it is opening. Normally it is mostly white with just a hint of color.

Wow! Very pretty! Now I'm curious. What kind of temps produced these colors? Please post pictures of it when it opens!

Hi Andrew, the temps were over 105 here with a fair amount of humidity. It was a really hot heat for us. The flower has opened, and now that it is cooler the pink on the back has faded a bit. The inside mostly looks the same with a nice pink around the edge.
