Quick, stick them right back on! The jagged edges should line up exactly as they were, and you can use popsicle sticks or chopsticks and masking tape to brace them.

It's worth a try to reconnect them immediately. If they don't take, then you can try rooting the cuttings later.

Thank you Jandey! I will try that! Another question.... do you know how long it should take for the branches to repair? How long should I wait until I can take the tape off? And should the inflow be cut? Thanks in advance! :) I still have hope lol:P

Good question. I would think that if the sap continued to flow between the main plant and the broken branches, you shouldn't see much wrinkling or leaf droop. I think you'll know after a week if the "grafts" aren't taking but I'd leave the tape on for at least a few weeks, just in case. Can't hurt at this point.

LOL Thank you so much.... got so worried about getting answers, that I posted about the same situation (well, a little more questions though)! I'm starting to get pretty worried though... I really don't want the plant to have a single sideways branch, all by itself.... that would look pretty ugly... Anyways thanks and let's let the plumeria do its magic (hopefully :P)

2 of the 3 broken branches are soft with wilted leaves. They look pretty bad. Should I just cut and replant them? Each is about 5 inches. Do you think that will do? They look awfully bad right now.... Do you know any ways I can plumpen the stem up? Perhaps soaking it in water? Thank you so much for your ideas and suggestions!

Best to leave them on for now. Even if you have to eventually root them, they need a couple weeks to callus at the break anyway, so they'll be drying out if they're not re-attaching.

Don't cut the ends when you do decide to try rooting. They'll root like they do in nature with jagged ends when wind knocks branches off.
