While looking at moisture meters, I noticed some kits for testing soil pH and level of nutrients (N-P-K). The $8 kits looked a little simplified with fewer levels of definition than another for $15. Does anyone use these and is there a particular brand or version you prefer?

It looks like things have slowed down pretty significantly. Everyone is probably busy trying to figure out where to store their plants for winter.

Perhaps if you look online at the hardware store you can see ratings from other buyers of the product. that might give you a good indicator.
