Very pretty, and the scent is??????

Sorry, not much of a smell. :(

I don't know if it is a seedling thing (no one has ever responded to my questions), but none of my seedlings have had a strong scent yet. I keep wondering if it develops after a few bloomings (like the color staying true).

astrl....all I have learned and read is: it takes them 3 years to be what they will finally be in size/color/scent/etc. I do have a seedling from '05 blooming for the first time this year and it is larger than my others and smells divine. roxanne

Another gorgeous seedling Barb! You've had a lot of beauties this year! I just got some seeds, but have not done the seed thing before. When is a good time to plant them?

Thanks Wendi, I like to start them in the spring but if I am waiting for the seedpod to open then most of them I start in June or July. Most of my seedpods seem to open then. I like to use fresh seeds but have saved them over the winter before with no problems. barb
