Heating mats

I recently got a seedling heating mat for my babies. I am wondering how warm they are suppose to be. I feel mine, and it is just a very light warm, almost can't feel the warmth, but it is there. Should it be warmer than that, or is that the way it is suppose to be, just a little bit?

Hi Lauri,
I thought I read here they should be around 80 degrees F.
Do you have a thermometer you can place on it? That might tell you where your at. Hope it works well for you. Keep us posted.

Thanks for that thought John, I'll give that a try. 80 degrees seems about right though, lower than body temp, but just a little bit warm.
