Bluerose What do the leaves look like and the growing habits? The shape and color of the flower to me is more representative of Penang Peach in moderate temperatures.

This is the plant before it bloomed. This is my first and only bloom. The leaves are quite big. The scent is strong. I usually let the plant go dormant for the winter but I think this year I will continue to water it.

Could you describe the scent? It just may be from a seedling that will never be identified. It does look like the leaf tip in the upper right corner has that downward hook. I think both California Sunset and Penang Peach have those and probably others of the same family. good luck with it.
