Probably has been asked before...

I'm probably the 1000th guy to ask this question.

Are mini roses genetically modified? Are they crossed, a hybrid? Or do they simply occur this cute (small) in nature?

Also- can anyone indentify this mini rose I have? It came from a company called parade. It had deep red flowers like the full sized rose.

Its growing great right now. Very big compared to when I bought it for $3 at Albertsons
