Miniature are very tough. Like other roses they can be grown in the ground or in a container. With new minis, I usually start them off in a smaller container to let them get established, and then will move them into a large container or into the ground once they have put on some growth. This one will need to be treated with a fungicide to prevent blackspot. You may want to contact the Greater Palm Beach Rose Society for more assistance, as they would be more familiar with your growing conditions.
