Any leaf that was still green could have stayed, it was still productive. You have blackspot. Are you using a fungicide? I recommend Bayer Advanced Disease Control. You also may want to find Mancozeb (or manzate), it is a "contact" fungicide that will halt any existing blackspot. The Bayer product will help the plant resist blackspot.

I have soap shield and daconil, but honestly i let it get out of hand before trying anything. I will use a fungicide regularly now.thanks

Good, minis rebound fast. Keep up the spraying. No Daconil in the heat (over 80 degrees) it can burn leaves.

Yes I did get it at Lowes. The plant looks totally healthy now and should start seeing some buds anytime.
