Jessica, those are very pretty minis and thanks for sharing them. Yes, you can post them larger if you'd like to from photobucket. You don't necessarily need to know the names of a mini to be able to enjoy and love growing them:) You're welcome to anytime you'd like to throw some color around!

I can't help you over much with aphids, not much you can do other than what you've tried. Some people say planting Marigolds help. Some people claim that if you have ants there is a correlation between the two, ants and aphids. Currently I have around a 100 little frogs/toads don't know which in residence taking care of my problem for me:)

Very pretty little mini's.I am just getting into the mini's.Have over 100 regular roses,and about 8 mini's now.Looks like you have Clematis,too,and so do I.I have just recently planted 5 new Cleamatis.And I am starting to mix daylilies in between the roses..I am usually bothered with Alphid bad too,but this year,haven't had any on the roses.Must be due to the Bayers 2 & 1 I used this year.Instead of the alphids this year,I have caterpillars eating the leaves up.

There were quite a few aphids here this spring in Maryland. I just use a soapy water mix and it seems to discourage them. They are gone now - ladybugs and praying mantis have made their arrival known!
