'Pacific Serenade' is a yellow mini with a beautiful form and the benefit of fragrance. I've never seen a speck of disease on mine and I grow it outdoors in the hot and humid south. It gets a little bigger than microminis but it would do well in a pot. It's also one of the first to start blooming among my 40+ roses and blooms all summer.

I have a large number of microminis as well and have never needed to spray any of them. Most of the time minis are hardier than people think, they just never try them without the sprays to find out. You'd probably be fine trying just about anything you like.
