Bees Knees, Height, Width, and Special Considerations?

I recently ordered two Bees Knees rose bushes and have been searching the net for pictures to get a better idea of the size before they arrive and I attempt to pot them, but all I ever get are pictures of the bloom itself.

I've checked around and most resources are saying these plants grow to be about 2' to 3' tall. Is that accurate? I haven't been able to get an estimate of the width at all. Is anyone familiar with how this one tends to grow? Is there anything special I would have to do with this rose that I wouldn't with others? Should I just follow general rose care guidelines? This is my first attempt at roses. Thanks!

Yes, 2' - 3' tall, 2' wide for me. Needs a regular trreatment for blackspot here in east central NJ.

I live in Kentucky and my experience with growing Bees Knees is the same as diane nj. I love the rose, but be prepared for the BS.

Thank you both for the advice. The roses arrived few days ago and, while they are tiny and have received a little damage in shipping, look like they are doing well so far. I'll have to run around to the local nurseries and ask about some BS protection so I can keep that in check from the beginning.

You all could not have been more right on this one. After I got off work and went home and checked the leaves - there it was, evidence of BS on some of the leaves closest to the soil. Needless to say, I ran off to the store for fungicide. Picky little things, hopefully the blooms will be worth the extra attention.
