Has anyone tried Pam Tillis or overnight scentsation? How do they grow in your garden? Would they make a good garden rose? ANy other mini suggestions. I'm ordering from Noreast.
I just got them both in april. Both are taking off fabulously. Pam's blooms do fade as they age. Overnight Scentsation's blooms seem to last a very long time.
I have Pam and she's doing very well. I just had my first bloom, and it was a little stronger in color than I had expected, but it looks to be a nice plant. No transplant problems at all -- she just wants to grow! Note that Pam is a lot bigger than many of the minis -- I can't remember the details, but I think she grows to 3 feet or something.
I just got Overnight Scentsation at the end of March, and transplanted into the ground about a month ago. It's doing very well. The flowers are large and last for ages. The flowers are almost red, much darker than the catalog picture, and a beautiful form, like a HT.
Overnight Scentsation got every disease in the book in my garden and was discarded after two years attempt to grow it. The blooms were huge, as was the plant; nothing miniature about it.
