I seem to remember someone on this Forum saying that Domino Cupido, a beautiful dark red mini, is easily winter-killed. Not true of the one I bought near last summer's end. I planted it beside my front steps, and gave it no protection except what nature provided in the form of snow piled over it. It's blooming like a fool out there right now. Has been all summer long.

I'd love to see a photo of it. Why aren't Cupido roses in the ARS handbook?

I think they are canadian commercial roses. I have had Canyon Cupido for several years it is very hardy,It stays very small, It does blackspot. But blooms abundantly! a garden club friend gave me a Domino Cupido last week for my birthday. It's a cutie. Its a shame they don't have an ARS registered name, I like to put Canyon Cupido in arrangements!
