I just received Liberty Bell myself so I don't have any info on that one. But will keep in touch and share any info about her as she grows. I do have Leading Lady though. I've only had her since Labor Day and she is doing great. Added only a scoop of compost in the hole when I planted her and she has already started blooming and growing quite well. I believe both should do well in our zones.

I have had Leading Lady for several years now. Give it room, it is a BIG PLANT and a BIG FLOWER. Very vigorous. Should be a monster in your area!

My Liberty Bell I planted last year didn't survive the winter and the Easter freeze we had in early April. I loved the red/white color of the bloom and the bush was healthy but stayed rather small. My one real complaint is that the blooms for the most part all stayed bull-nosed throughout the bloom cycle which I found very disappointing. That is why I didn't replace my dead one this past Spring with a like bush. Too bad....

My Leading Lady bushes are outstanding and LARGE. In my opinion this is not a mini-flora in any way and should be classed as a floribunda. I don't really care however as it only matters if you are exhibiting them, which I don't. They still make an outstanding garden rose in my back deck rose bed as they are always in bloom with flowers that are well formed and colorful. I highly recommend this one to anyone.

I don't grow Double Gold.

I'm on my second Double Gold and just planted Leading Lady. Double Gold has beautiful shaped buds but the plant itself tends to be a compact sprawl, like June Laver, instead of upright. The blooms seem too heavy for the plant but I love the coloring and it stays in bloom all year in our desert climate. Liberty Bell was on my order last year but wasn't available at the time. I didn't request it this year as I got Bonfire, the new red. Am a pushover for reds and yellows.

I have Liberty Bell. I haven't seen a good bloom on it all year. Leading Lady- fantastic blooms and because of the hot summer small plant.
