Transplanting established mini

I have an established mini in my front garden that I would like to move. In a search of the forum I read that Spring is the recommended time for pot-to-garden transplanting. Would the same time of year be ideal for garden-to-garden?

Also, are there any other considerations in moving an established plant? It will be in the same general area and will receive the same light. Thank you!

You can move it now. Rule of thumb is as long as the ground is workable and not frozen, you can move it, whether it be from pot to pot, pot to garden, garden to pot or garden to garden. Make sure to water it before you move it and water again after moving and keep it moist. Dig so that you get as much as the root ball as possible. Dehydration after transplanting is usually the problem so watering is key.
