What a beautiful rose!

Pretty! It looks so healthy. I like those little leaves too. It's really shooting up some canes isn't it, I wonder how tall it will get?

Hey thanks, it's supposed to get 8' tall and supposed to like to spread. I just planted it in March but it got hot really fast in May so it just kind of sat and gathered low growth at first. Now in Oct it started shooting up. It has a nice fragrance to it's flowers also and I agree very attractive new foliage and foliage.

I've been wanting this rose. lesdvs9, what size was it when you bought it? Just wondered how fast it would grow from a 4"-5" potted seedling...

We have a looooong growing season and hot summers.

It was one of these I got on the first of Mar last year. Most of those were about a foot tall, all the roses put out a foot of growth between Oct and Nov when it cooled off. This rose ended the season at 36"tall x 34"wide. It's very hot here too and this rose sailed through it without a problem. Unlike some of the other climbers this rose doesn't need as much water, it that helps too.
