Even in Southern Floridia it is possible to freeze. We actually got snow one year in Boca Raton. (Didn't faze the begonias at all.)

Other than that, you're good to go.

I try so hard to..... Not be jealous of ya all down there, even though I love winter.

I am experimenting with some ,less than desirable seeds, in different soils for germination and, now I find myself with a few surprise seedlings. I sure wish I could put them out to pasture.

I am now stuck with em and I will happily learn how these seedlings handle low light and (indoor) winter temps for way to long... Will be fun anyway.

So find a 1qt pot with a water collection base, fill it with fresh MG potting soil, transplant seedling, stick it in a South facing window & see if the seed starting test turns into a head start to the 2015 growing season.

Unless the "less than desirable seeds" are from less than desirable varieties!

Already there NECM. by undesirable I mean... Seeds that got mixed up by my cat while they were drying. I have little idea of what they are. Found the labeled paper towels and seeds all over the place one day... Ha ha! Might work out fine.. Either way I'm not worried, its all in the name of education at this point and I still have seeds on the way plus the ones that got put away and labeled before the kitty debacle.
