I am wondering if anyone here has experience getting roses that typically are grown and sold in other areas of the world. I am in Utah, but am trying to get my hands of several Rae Dungan plants.
My grandmother, whose name was Rae, passed away recently, and I wanted to purchase a number of these roses to plant as a memorial to her. However, the Rae Dungan is usually only grown in the Australian area. I read several articles that suggest it should be hardy enough to withstand our winters in the Rocky Mountain West. Are their customs restrictions on shipping roses internationally? Does anyone else have experience with getting a rose from a different region of the world? Does anyone have resources for finding such plants?
