I saw it in the 1/2 price sale table at lowes, it was a bareroot rose, it was only $4.00, I live in California it's pretty easy to find.

Do others have luck with roses from lowe,s. I have been hesitant to buy the cheaper ones. Any advice?

Mouse, don't know where you live, but call your local garden centers, the privately-owned local ones, and ask them if they carry Peace. It is still very popular, and widely available.

You have received good advice here. If possible, get a quality Peace from a reputable nursery ... Peace, grown from cuttings on its own roots, is very, VERY slow to mature for me. A good grafted plant should perform very well in your garden.

I have purchased many roses from Lowes they are all doing fantastic and some of them were bareroot. Try it... their plants are nice there.
