After doing some reading, I'm now thinking it would not be a good idea to do my first hybridizing attempts trying to use the micro-mini "Si" and going about it willy-nilly.

I've read it's best to have some sort of plan. I think I'd like to try breeding minis that have the old garden rose form--flat or cupped with lots and lots of petals.

So what do I do? Paul Barden believes that miniaturism is a pretty strong trait. Do I simply apply some mini-rose pollen to one of the big OGR's and vice versa and see what happens?
