They have only recently been potted, one of them is so ready he has a bud. For a size reference they are in small dixie cups.

Just wondering what rooting method you are using? Interesting how different methods work for different people.

This is nature's method, these are from suckers that form when the mother plant has roots close to the top of the ground.
I separate them from the main roots. Some were two or more feet from the trunk, other form near the crown and can be broken off.
This is another reason for own root plants.
