Dried Leaves on my rose cuttings

Two weeks ago I started several rose cuttings in sandy soil with a rooting hormone. Each had 3 or 4 leaves on them. However, on at least two of the cuttings, one or two of the leaves have a significant amount of dried up area. Should I continue trying to root these cuttings or is this a sign that I've done something wrong and my chances for success are slim?

Im not sure but i would keep trying, but increase humidity and soil moisture. hope it helps!

I would clip the leaves off they usually fall off at some point anyway.

I'd leave them so long as they have some areas that are still a reasonably healthy looking shade of green. That's fuel for the rooting process.
