i always take a large, gallon size zip lock baggie with a wet paper towel in the bottom, and just stick my cutting in there, they should transport well for you. as far as re-cutting them, i usually take long cuttings, if the bush can spare them, that way i can cut the bottoms again, and maybe even get 2 cuttings from each stem. good luck..hope you get something good!! donna

Like Donna said. I would add that you need to keep them out of the sun. If you can take a cooler with ice and put them in there, it would be good. But I did a trip thru Colorado, Utah, Grand Canyon, and back to Missouri and just kept the zip lock bags under the front seat of the car.
