Kim sent me a link to this post and I thought I'd let other non premium-members know how to view a sample of the reports so that they can make an informed decision as to whether or not the linage report might be of value to them.

Any non premium-member can view the sample reports by opening any rose page and clicking on the LINAGE tab. The reports for 'Betty Boop' will appear. This way you can see the kinds of reports available on the HMF site.

PS...Kim had me doing linage reports by hand before HMF came up with the linage tools. I am so very glad I never have to do that again.

Thank you Lyn! Hopefully, more will see how valuable the membership feature is and join. Even if you don't breed, knowing what is behind the rose you're considering can often help you determine if you really WANT the rose. Some just won't perform in my climate, and I have found many of their babies unable to do it here, either, so I avoid them. Being able to see who they are has helped me save quite a few bad choices.
