I think it looks fantastic. Therese Bugnet is one of my very favorite roses, and this progeny is wonderful. I'll need to check for hips on mine. Perhaps I'll have some gorgeous offspring from her as well. Thanks for sharing.

I think it looks very good, but to be honest, if it continues to ball as it matures, that flaw alone is enough to disqualify it as a viable marketable rose. You have to be brutal in your assessment of seedlings and not be seduced by one or two good traits. Good luck, I hope it matures nicely. Does it repeat well?

Hey guys, thank you for the replies. I posted back on the other post, so I am going to copy and paste my answers here to some of the questions.

To answer some questions, I am not sure of the repeat on it, was not even sure it was going to bloom this year as it took so long to get started. I am hoping once I have it in the ground, with a much more reliable source of water it will not ball, but it is possible that it is going to continue, and will be a major downfall of the plant. I am hoping it is very hardy, but we shall see, it was planted in the ground for the past winter, unlike some of my seedlings which survived in pots. I want to have it in ground again for this winter, and hopefully get some suckers from it so I can share it and see how it does in other regions.

I guess I will know more next year, but I am really hoping this one does well for me, and even if it does not make it to be a marketable rose, I think this is one I am going to keep, at least for a few years, just because :-)

My sister lives in Maine and her neighbor has one, so it has to be pretty hardy. One bloom filled two rooms with perfume. I want one but I doubt they would do well in zone 10.
