What to expect...

Hello folks...

I am new to the Tampa area and recently got a garden going in the SE Tampa Bay area. I think the USDA puts it at 9b. Around the first of November I put in the ground some Sandia chilies, polbanos and some cubanelles. The plants were from the nursery, well started, in 4" pots.

Can I expect any fruit off these plants over the winter? One of the Sandia's (currently less than 12" tall) already started to bud out. I did prune those buds hoping for the plant to grow a bit more. Mistake?

Does anyone in the area any experiences to share, or advice for this noob...

Thanks,

Mike
