Oh, you've got some really nice ones there--lots of climbers too. Love that.

Nice to have such an able assistant!

Ohhh, how great to have those roses surrounding your vegetable garden. Beauty within and without! Wish I could take a good deep breath of Angel Face. Went to a local nursery last month that carried Angel Face, and I searched and searched through the 5 bushes for the healthiest one I could find. Not the best, but I'm going to do all I can to pull it though.

Wow. Very impressive. Thanks so much for sharing this with us. And the gardener and son are definitely the stars of the show!!! Great photos taken by you both! :-)

You have some nice ones there. The Pinata is quite colorful.

Thanks so much for the nice comments. I appreciate the mutual love for gardening.

I agree on the Angel Face...amazing scent...mine was a rescue "gift" from Walmart that a neighbor gave me...which I reluctantly took because I disliked mauve. It was in terrible shape..I put in in a crappy shaded location thinking it was doomed....and it has flourished ever since like nothing I have ever seen.

Still waiting to plant some from spring orders, like Darlow's Enigma (#2), Cornelia and others...& I was recently generously given a few rarer ones ( old heirlooms & musks) by a local rosarian and will post the progression on those...very excited.

Ya know...a really cool thing you might do with DARLOW'S ENIGMA is to shape into a white flowering tree while it is still young. I did that and try to keep it shaped like that. Very nice looking white blooming tree out in the garden. Love it because DARLOW is a profuse bloomer! :-)

Is your Neptune on steroids? :>)

    Lovely blooms and son.

Amazing rose bushes! Your Pinata with the clematis is a beautiful combination. I love those colors.

All the roses look great. Keep up the good work. Every thing and everyone looks happy and healthy.

Thanks everybody. Love seeing all the posts of people's roses. Despite the horrid tornadic storms in the Midwest, this is one of the coolest, wettest spring seasons I have seen since moving here from the east coast 12 years ago. The roses have exploded in growth, bloom, and, unfortunately, black spot...o, well! :-)

Neptune is gorgeous! How old is she? What do you feed her? Thanks for sharing your photos.

@gplainshoya I know this is an old thread, but your Pinata is gorgeous! How much sun/shade does it get? And how long did it take to grow that large? I just planted a wee plant this year and am curious the timeframe. Mine is in full sun and am also reading that it is better in partial shade.
