Armstrong sells corms/bulbs, whatever they are, but not this time of year. If you live near Buena Creek Gardens, they may have them as well - I purchased them there several years ago in all the colors you mentioned and several others besides. You might also try Brent and Becky's. There is no reason to buy a plant rather than a corm.

SilverHill Seeds in South Africa is currently listing 23 species of Watsonia seeds for sale. I have had good success with their seeds.

You can't beat the large selection that is out there when you grow plants from seed, but be prepared to wait at least 3 years for blooms. Also, be sure to sow at the right time of year (spring/summer or fall/winter). Most of the plants need the right temperature to germinate.

They place orders to the USA in one big package, apparently collecting orders for 2 weeks or so. Then they mail them to a single place for distribution in the USA, thus only one phytosanitary certificate is needed and the prices are kept low.

Actually, they have an enormous number of species available from seed, almost all of them African or South African. I've been very pleased with the Aloe species, and the tree and shrub seeds that I ordered.

Thank you all for your ideas! In my search, I also found Jim Duggan at www.thebulbman.com - has anyone had experience purchasing from him? I searched elsewhere on this forum and found a couple of references to him that appeared positive, but not a ton of information or history was available.

Most of those $15. gallons you can split in 2 or 3 pieces and plant them. It will be less expensive and they reproduce rather quickly to form beautiful clumps.
Another option is to wait until fall and go to Roger's Gardens. They always sell the bulbs.
