Hi, I just got a new Clivia. It came in a nursery pot and during shipping the soil all fell out.

I figured I would repot it.

I know that Clivia likes to be pot bound, so would it be ok if I went a size smaller? I have a pot that will be a nice fit for the roots, but its smaller than the one it came in.

Also, plastic or terra cotta?
