Hey Robin!
Your website is heavenly. I was so glad to see a picture of the Salvia Costa Rica Blue. I've had this plant for several years. It was sold to me as Salvia guaranitica 'Costa Rican Form' I love it but I had wondered why it didn't have a longer bloom time like all the other guaraniticas. I think you are right in saying it isn't a guaranitica at all.I will be watching your website for any updates on it.
Seeing your picture of Salvia koyamae made me miss mine more than ever. I had it for several years in my garden, but in the third year of a four year drought, it finally gave up. I may have to break down and try it again.
You have several other pics on your site that have me salivating so I will be doing some plant searches this year.

I have never grown Salvia koyamae, but have recently received some seeds....very exciting.
