We grow 4 forms of S. regla, but have never come across this variety. Contact me if for sourcing on the other types, if you wish.

I have grown this form, though I recently found out that it came from Queretaro, not Hidalgo, according to my source at the Huntington Botanical Garden.

The form known as S. regla Huntington is what was left of the collection after some self-crossing and germination, when they did the bed over. It probably has genes from the 'Hidalgo" form, and possibly Jame (from Coahuila, which I collected), and some of the Big Bend, Texas forms.
