Actually, you already know the answer; you just don't realize it because it's not very obvious until you know about it.

This sansevieria is S. masoniana. It was S. "Mason Congo" but the name has been updated fairly recently.

I've been aware of the name for a while. I wanted everyone here to know the plant I was referring to. I have a couple of clones of S. masoniana (including a variegate or two), but all of them seem to stay pretty short - 2' tall is about as big as they get. I've seen clones that were close to 4.5' tall - that's what I'm looking for.

BTW, you can identify S. masoniana by the purple sheathes as it sends up new growth.

The variegated plants do not grow as large, for them to get tall they will need a 5 gal. container. Perhaps more humidity, more water, more fertilizer. Growing conditions effect these plants just like any other plant. You are talking about the blue clone, with a bloom on the leaves, and wavy leaves. Just checking to see if I'm on the same page. It's hot here so I am watering twice a week. If you can get a clone from the place you saw it I would do so, if not, ask them how they grow them, and duplicate that growing method. Florida seems to grow them taller so I think the humidity is the trick. I have never heard of Masoniana 'Super Clone' but there is a S. kirki v. pulchra 'Super Clone' Norma
