Generally they'll grow in spring/summer. I just had my first bloom this winter. Confusing, I know. And some grow slower than others, especially if indoors in low light. HTH.

Thanks Josh, I am glad to know that these plants grow in the spring and summer. Since I had 2 old plants to bloom, around Christmas I thought that was the end of the growing season. The old plants were just given to me. Thanks again Ann

Remember they are generally slow growing plants. Mine don't do anything in the winter months (and that's pretty much 6 months of the year here in Maine!).

I'm sure you'll find your plants will send up new shoots in the summer. Good luck and enjoy them!

I'm in Nebraska, too, and I have a few that are growing right now, but most put on the majority of their growth (albeit slowly) during the warm months. All of mine that have bloomed for me do so in winter.

Thanks both for your encouragement. I was just worried that the plants I ordered in and received in October, were not going to grow at all. I do water them now and then and they seem to be healthy enough just not growing. I guess they will teach me a lesson in patience. If yours are growing a little in Nebraska, then surely mine will a little later. Thanks again Ann
