I called in another PC expert, to help me get pictures up for all of you, we will see how good he is Norma Norma

He didn't stay long enough to be of any help. I need repeated step training. Until I can do it automatically
so no pictures until I can do that, I have even stopped taking them. I will not send tiny pictures either, because you cannot see the details that will ID that species. here is an art in taking pictures for the purpose of ID, my boss at the Huntington is an expert at doing just that, his pictures pop out almost like 3D. You also need to feel the leaves, and look at the rhiomes, leaf sheaths are important and the apex. You eyes must observe them long enough for you to know them, at first they all look alike, soon you start picking up details that will tell you who they are. You MUST have the name attached until you are good enough that it is not needed at all. I made the mistake of not puting the name in the bottom of the pot written in pencil #2 soft please. My boss where I volunteeer was here today, fell in love with my San. Masoniana variegated plant. Even he had to pull up the tags to check out the names, he can't ID without the label. I can do some, but not all of them. Even the pedicles can make a difference. the width of the leaf, wick, the sheath, what color and color of rhizomes.
Again mine are in flower tonight, but mine are from an old collection they
have been flowering since Sept. about eight different every month. These plants on the most part are 15-20 years old. I raised the spiky/rambling plants to the top of the green house, and it worked they started to flower within two week, small pot are okay until the rhizomes fill it up, them move it up each year until the plant reaches full size. am going to attempt pictures again, It not my nature to just give up.
