Hello, what kind of soil are u using, if you are using a non porus soil then add lots of perlite to it so it drains better. and when u moved it to the new room, does it have the same amount of light, and another thing is, is it colder, if it is then it needs to be hotter. but the mussy parts you can cut them off as close to the soil a possible. and cut them into 3 in sections and plant them bottom down into perlite and put into a plastic bag with lots of bottom heat until roots form then u can take the bag off and water normally. they will produce more plants in about 1 to 2 months.

I was thinking the light thing also. Plus, I water mine once a month in winter, once every 3 wks. in summer. I grow mine in full sun. You want to be sure drainage is good, no water is sitting in the bottom. Good luck!

Just too wet and cold, they are rotting. You may be able to save some of them, by taking them out of the soil to dry out. If necessary cut off all of the leaves, save the root stock and plant late April. YOu live in No. Cal. Wait one week and water, putting the rootstock in the smallest container that is possible. If it is shallow you will see results faster. This happens to many of us this time of year, they just can't have water all winter, if it is also cold, meaning below 55% at any time. Plant what ever is left of the leaves, that are not rotted. (cut off the rotted stuff then dry out the bottom of the cut, this is one time I would recommend rooting hormones. Set the leaves into a shallow container no deeper that 2-3" or use a larger container and fill it half way. Put in as many leaves on one species that you can.Don't forget the label. Make haste, you have no time to lose. I'm so sorry that this happened. Norma

I have one that I brought indoors in late September that I haven't watered even once.....it has new growth.
