I was just in my locale Wal-Marts and they had one for $4.50 about the 4" pot size. I liked the one next to it that had yellow stripes running thru it. I believe it to be in the Futura group due to the wide leaves. Futura should grow only up to about 12 to 18 inches. There are many tall growing ones like black coral or some others. Check out Bob Smoley's Gardenworld on the internet. I have always had good results with him. Some didn't but I think that was years ago when he was operating from different states. Also the regular snake plant seen in many stores, the all green ones, will darken with lower light use as in houses or offices. My Sansevieria Trifasciata has almost black leaves due to being in low light. New leaves look brighter. Some of the leaves are very old (20 yrs.) or more. The black new types darken up much faster and better. Good luck.
