open. Do your cuttings in a 3"or 4" pot see what you can save.Is is Raspberry Royale(Rich's)? We have one here produced by Colorspot Nurseries called Raspberry Ripple (I gave them the true Raspberry) which is more in the violet tones.
The Raspberry Ripple they are growing now have no idea where they picked it up from but is more Burgandy or Maroon.It is not accuately Identified.Probably need
to talk to Greg Grant see if he knows who it is. He usually finds plants for Colorspot to put into production.

Thanks, Art. The tag only says S. greggii Raspberry (grown by Meadowlark Nursery in Hollister, CA). The flowers are large; similar in size to S. m. Red Velvet. The description says maroon flowers, evergreen, 3 feet, aromatic. The last word is an understatement. The smell is similar in intensity to S. clevelandii! This plant is VERY brittle... they are still in their pots, so I'm glad that I know this, as I will plant them in a wind-protected spot.

I will have tons of cuttings, as these broken branches are quite long, and woody at the base, so I will take tips as well, as I have better luck with that.
