Salvia Regla
I had some salvia regla, but it only bloomed once a year, in November, after the hummingbirds had left. I read in an article that the nectar in s. regla has one of the highest percentages of sugar of any of the commonly grown salvias. That must be true because the butterflies, especially the cloudless sulphurs, went absolutely crazy for it!
Is there any type salvia regla that blooms earlier in the year? Is there any type that blooms more than once a year?
Thanks,
Sherry
