Recommendation for screening tree

We are looking for a fast-growing tree that we can plant between our house and our neighbor's to provide screening. We would like something that will end up no more than 15-20 feet tall so we don't have to worry about it falling on the house in a hurricane. We are on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, so the soil is sandy and the air is salty. The yard is in full sun. Thanks!
