Maybe, if the rhizomes have not rotted already some just may come up when it gets hot. This is a common problem in New York. People just don't understand the species. Norma

Sorry to hear about this. If the plant is all soft & mushy, it's a goner. If you've got any leaves left that are still stiff & feel alive to the touch, cut off any soft, mushy parts & put them in some C&S mix w/ lots of perlite or pumice & then give it time. Hope this helps.

I just lost a Sans Forescate due to rotted leaves. Had probably put the crown too far below the soil plus overwatered. I miss the plant and need to get another.

Been there done that, I had problems with this sport,
even in my dry climate I couldn't grow it.
S. 'Forscate' is hard to find. I never see it for sale. Norma
