Bmock, thanks, and yes there was a bunch all around their too & they looked so healthy, I thought at 1st they werent real. But they were, Im actually not sure about the name other than the type.

Boy, this site is real quite, maybe since spring is in the air everyone is in there garden instead of on the garden web.

Yes, very quiet. I think the number of sans lovers is very small compared the the C&S gang. I go over there and read and look at photos for entertainment. Love all your photos!
The weather here has been so perfect, i have been thinking about moving plants outside, but no, another cold front is on the way. You are so lucky to be living in your climate. Gets a little too hot sometimes though, doesn't it?

Your right about being too early. I am tempted to bring out some plants but I know I will have to hurry and bring in. So I will wait.

All my plants are still stored away in their winter home. When I get to move them out, I will add a picture update. I can't wait also.
I beleive the plants to be Regular trifasciata Laurentii. When you get a lot of plants together like that, you always get some with more yellow stripes. If it stays true, then I would guess it is Lillian True. Just my guess from seeing what i saw. I see the same on big pots at Wal-Marts and Lowes.

Bmock, Your obsolutely right & thank you for the compliment. I really enjoy working in the garden and Im often asked, how did you get started on on this hobby? I finally narrowed it down to someone gave me some nice Echeverias and BAM! I got bit.

You the weather is nice but your right again sometimes.it can get way to hot, I tell myself, at least my plants love it. :)

I'm marching the plants out and back in at night. Last night and the night before it was in the 50's so everyone stayed out. Tuesday night it will drop down into the 20's here!

The really big plants will have to stay inside until they can stay out until fall.

Take it easy. After wintering over all year, we don't need a mishape to happen. Wait till it gets warmer. I know, i can't wait myself.

I agree with Stush and Barb.....can't wait to get them out. It finally felt warm the past two or three days but we are getting an inch of rain today followed by a freeze toingiht. The Sans are suffering and/or in static mode inside (except for a big masoniana which just popped out a pup!).....they are always so much happier during thier summer "vacations". Stush the plan in the photos has too dark a center to be regular laurentii. Certainly Lillian and/or 'Compacta'.

Oh ooo, I've been out voted. I'll take it like a gentleman. It was a nice photo to remind us of spring anyway. I reach a point that they all start to look alike. I know, my bad. But I still love the traditional simple kinds. The ones I started with over 40 years ago and just can't get rid of. Or kill for that mater.

I took them in last night when it started to rain. It was 63 degrees then it the temps dropped. This morning, we have snow on the ground and it's 31 degrees.

I never had them out if it got colder than 55. I noticed some of my cacti started waking up with the warm weather and the rain. They're all on the dining room table now for a couple of days until it gets warm enough (probably Sunday) to start marching them out and in again.

I wear a Fitbit (fancy pedometer). Marching the plants in and out help me get to my goal of 10,000 steps. Every little bit helps!

I feel for all you snow birds I just could'nt handle it ( I think,) I have alot of fun just moving my plants all around like furniture Lol.. But it's when ever I get the urge too & not when the weather demands it.
After all it's for your babies so it's all worth it, that's what I tell myself when ever I move my to an all shade location 0r a little more sun. :)

Great, It's 25 degrees out and snow on the grass. At least the streets are clear. I had some plants out and glad I brought them back in.

Stush, I feel you bro MAN! 25 degrees at this time of the year for us here in California would be a Bad thing so I thank you for reminding me how very fortunate I am out here in Sunny California.
